Legacy Adventure Travel began with Sandy and Charles — two people from different continents, brought together by a shared love of meaningful travel. When they first met and traveled together along the southern coast of Africa, Charles was struck by landscapes he’d never imagined — deep ravines plunging through open prairie, wild coastline framed by mountains, and the chance to snorkel in clear water alongside native wildlife. Cape Town’s rhythm and culture left a lasting impression, but it was the quiet, uncrowded beaches — places where conversation flowed and presence came naturally — that helped them build something more. Together, they discovered not just an incredible region, but the power of travel to grow closer, see differently, and spark something new.
Sandy, originally from Congo, has built her career on bringing Africa’s beauty and hospitality to travelers from all over the world. With over a decade in tourism, she’s planned trips for thousands and knows the heartbeat of travel across Southern Africa — from city corners to remote safari camps.
Charles brings two decades of experience building teams and products — and a long-time passion for helping people adventure together. From organizing group trips in high school and college to traveling the back roads of Africa with Sandy, he believes that travel done right can deepen relationships and enrich lives.
