Legacy Adventure Travel began with Sandy and Charles — two people brought together quite improbably with different backgrounds and culture.
Their first journey together along the southern coast of Africa left lasting impressions: deep ravines plunging through open prairie, snorkeling alongside native wildlife, and the unforgettable sight of herds grazing in the morning sun.
Cape Town’s rhythm and culture added to the experience — especially one spontaneous night at the waterfront, where a single musician mixed requests into an unscripted celebration of music and life. Yet, it was the quiet, uncrowded beaches — places where conversation flowed and presence came naturally — that shaped not only their relationship but also the vision for Legacy Adventure Travel.
